The reality of tanneries continues to thrive, according to the latest study conducted by Pambianco new in 2022. For the 102^nd edition of Lineapelle, the outcome resulted in a turnover increase for Italian tanneries, particularly the ones segmented in the luxury market. The analysis found positive results and, in some cases, even better than pre-pandemic levels due to an increase of demand in the premium market.

Conceria Pasubio, leather manufacturer for the automotive interior sector, was classified in the 2^nd place. In 2019, the group held a 10,9% market share for premium interior leather on a global scale, before the acquisition of HeWa, with a 350-million-euro turnover, showing a 9% increase compared to its results in 2021. The group’s balance sheet indicates, regardless of the current economic situation, a general 8,7% increase, while the luxury business & premium market demand rose of 9,0% and 25,1% respectively.
